Post-Yuletide, Pre-2011 update

Howdy to you and yours, friends and family; Christmas Day has come and past, and the madness that is Boxing Day has left in it’s wake a massive trail of shopping horrors only visited on stores located outside of the States. The guys and gals here in Escravos attempted to do it up right, primarily in the food department (finding a pine tree in a swamp is a little difficult), but there is something just off about eating turkey with all the trimmings in sweltering heat and humidity. Don’t get me wrong, it was still good times, but while you guys were getting hit with some pretty epic winter weather we were melting beneath the Equatorial sun coupled with some pretty awesome Bloody Marys.

-Same, but slightly different.

Looks like we also have another couple of gigs coming up too for New Years Eve and day, and if I can get some good shots of us eviscerating some of yesteryear’s classics I’ll post them up. So, in closing and from our little dysfunctional family here to you, I wish you the best in the coming times ahead!

About Old Iron
I'm just a guy that works overseas alot and likes to play just as hard as I work. Been to a FEW countries, know a shitload of people all over, and generally have a good time wherever I go. -Oh, and I am currently in between girlfriends, and strangely enough and perfectly happy with that status. In the long run hookers are cheaper. Take my word on that.

Hey! Get-togethers with friends… even of the co-worker sort… over good Bloody Marys is NEVER a bad thing, no matter where you are! Pics are good, too. (Which is a none too subtle hint)

  2. Old Iron says:

the pics are MANDATORY for any event where coworkers attend, as they are not only little tokens of a good time but also can be used during delicate “negotiations” as either a reminder of times past and a verification of friendship, or LEVERAGE.

It was a lot of fun though Buck. Hope you and yours are well this season!

  3. Buck says:

re: LEVERAGE. Hopefully no domestic animals were harmed at said events. 🙂
