Kevin Costner vs. Al Gore

I am going to keep this simple.
We tested it in some of the toughest environments we could find and actually what it’s done — it’s quite robust,” Suttle said. “This is real technology with real science behind it and it’s passed all of those tests.”
Critics, mostly on the political right and among global warming sceptics, say Mr. Gore is poised to become the world’s first “carbon billionaire,” profiteering from government policies he supports that would direct billions of dollars to the business ventures he has invested in.
-One is turning a profit on a technology that he funded and developed to address a real, physical concern; the other pushes other agencies to force yet ANOTHER agency to adopt restrictive practices that have no proven impact on the issue that is being addressed and raking in the moolah because of the investments made in addressing the restrictions.
-One creates, and says that he has a viable, tested product to address a concern, and the other forces a product to be used as it is the only one out there and you are forced to comply to its usage. Both achieve the lofty goal of “cleaning the environment”, but one does it NOW and has a VISIBLE EFFECT while the other… kinda says that it will do it in the future, MAYBE, and you won’t directly see the results BUT IT IS A GOOD THING AND YOU NEED TO DO IT.
