Living on a Prayer

█ ♥ █ Our Father who art in Vancouver, hockey be thy name.

Thy will be done, the gold will be won,

on ice as well as in the stands.

Give us this day, our hockey sticks,

and forgive us our penalties as we forgive those who cross check against us.

Lead us not into elimination but deliver us to victory.

In the name of the Canadian hockey teams,

AMEN…

GO CANADA GO █ ♥ █

LOL! I love it and will be repeating it often. Loudly.

  2. Buck says:

    …and forgive us our penalties

Heh. That we will. “He shoots! He Scooores! Powerplay goal USA!” Rinse. Repeat. Over and over. 😀

  3. Old Iron says:

    You tell ’em Buck.

  4. lady red says:

Very cute! I doubt it’ll do you much good, but keep on prayin’ to the hockey gods…it beats screaming “Oh no! Goal USA! AGAIN!”

    Hee-hee. :)))

Oh you under estimate our Luuuuuuu-ongo! I’ve been thinking about this … and I think we have a pretty decent chance as gold here! There’s no shoo-in for the US whatsoever. You will HAVE to earn it and work DAMN HARD for it…. IF you are to get it. That is a BIG ‘IF’ for y’all today!

      • Buck says:

Would that be the same Luuuu who’s yet to win a Big Game? Why, yes. Yes, it IS. I seem to remember something called “Game Six” against Chicago in last year’s Stanley Cup playoffs. Same Luuuu, right?

You better start your prayers right NOW, KC. 😉

  5. Buck says:

More bad news, KC. I refreshed my memory about Game Six and it was Patrick Kane that got the hat trick against Luuuu. Omens, anyone? 😀

    • ~KC~ says:

I have faith our LUUUUUU will be just fine…
American trash talk… unphases my faith.

Regardless of who wins – we already beat the Americans by being #1 in FAR MORE sporting events than you. And that… pleases me!!! ;0)

  6. Buck says:

Well, the Power of Prayer comes through. Congrats, KC. It was a near-run thing.
